Hi, I am relatively new to the RC Nitro Boat world and I was confused on how to hook up the gas tank to the engine and all of the other hookups that are needed for the engine. The gas tank on the boat has two hookup prongs on it. Any help would be appreciated.
For all of my K&B 3.5cc outboards I used an 8oz Sullivan tank. I placed my tank so that the stopper was facing to the rear of the boat. I used two lines, one to the carb and the other to the pressure nipple on the lower unit. You can either use a clunk type fuel pickup or just use a bent brass tube. Make sure whatever you use that the pickup is located in the lower left of the tank, this from the drivers perspective.

Yes. The 'vent' line on the fuel tank is connected to the nipple on the lower unit. The exhaust is used to add pressure to the tank in an effort to push fuel to the carb.
