I have an original 7.5 df rire engine. The carburator has fins, I have been told that there is a later model carb that is square (block) and is a much better carburator. My question is this .Should I keep the carb I have or is it worth buying this updated version ? Actually what is the difference? And how much would the better one cost?

It need a remote needle too.
The are the same design. This one has a bigger throat then yours.
