I just bought a 2nd hand 7.5cc Outboard that is at least 6 years old.
It has a round aircooled red head and a silver square finned barrel. It has a silver flywheel (although the back of the flywheel looks like it is red like the head) and a square silver alloy "mixture disc" carb with a remote high speed needle. .
What do I need to do to confirm what model I have?
It has some numbers engraved underneath the engine mount that appear to be 70101.
I've checked it against against the diagrams but I can't get an exact match on shapes and colours. Do I need to pull it apart and measure the crank pin diameter and bearing diameter??
Thanks,
James
