Hi there, I have a K&B 7.5 IB engine model no. 9181 with a big square carburettor on it that has the hi speed needle in one end & the idle mixture needle in the other end of the barrel. It also has a large velocity stack which is held in with two orings. Is this the right carb for this engine or should it have the carb with mixture disk & remote needle valve? Any help will be appreciated. Regards Craig.

this is the carb you are refering to

the one on the right, although made for the larger engines it was used on some 7.5's and should be okay for your engine.
