What is the purpose of the brass hex head screw at the bottom of the K&B 100 Carb low speed disk?
Is there an exploded view of this carb available? It is not included with the exploded view (pdf) of the engine.
What is the function of the threaded brass fitting on the carb body betwen the low speed disk and the engine. Mine has an off-center threaded hole in it. Should there be a screw in this hole?
Thanks,
A customer.

The one screw is so you can place the inlet nipple on the other side for rear/front intake engines.
The fitting with the hole is just the draw bar that holds the carb in place. What you are looking at is the back side of the screw hole from the other side. Nothing goes in there, it is the end of the screw hole from the other side.
You can kinda see that at
