I have an HB .25 with a Perry carb on .. I suspect carb problems.. can I replace a Perry carb with another style to run the HB .25.. do I have to buy another Perry? any advice is appreciated.

Don't replace it as it is one of the best ones made. About the only things that can go wrong with one is the two "O" rings get hard ( won't idle) & run erratic (dirt in carb in area between the two "O" rings ). These should always be run with a filter . Last is improper adjustment ,follow directions. I have never seen one wore out but a lot of broken ones but they didn't break the intake like aluminum ones do. Give it a try. Max H. :)
