I am trying to decide on which model engine encyclopedia is better, the American Model Engine Encyclopedia or Anderson's Blue Book. Could someone help me out?
Thanks,Hunter

They have different purposes and uses. I have both. One is not better than the other.

I really just want to be able to identify engines. I know that Anderson's does not have 1/2A in it and I really focus on 1/2A.

I think you will find that Frank Anderson has a Half A Blue Book for 1/2A engines from 1948 to 2007.
Go to his website: andersonsbluebook.com or email him at
