OK, Mecoa offers two (2) different adapters for Cox:
911-048 MECOA plug adapter for Cox .049 / .051 & Norvel AME .049/.061 for Standard SHORT glow plugs
and
911-049 MECOA plug adapter for Cox .049 / .051 & Norvel AME .049/.061 for Standard LONG glow plugs
Now ... has anyone ran the same engine, same fuel, same day, same place with each and determined any difference? (Maybe, even tried the Doug Galbreath head w/ the Nelson plug?)
I think I've heard all the theories - are there actual results?
THANK YOU, Tom

I think Mecoa has the two versions just so that you can use whatever plug you have on hand. I wouldn't think they would perform any differently. You could also just get the short plug adapter and then add an extra washer and make it a long plug if you wanted to.
GO COX!
