I have a KB 61 engine. It has a part on the rear cover that has a fuel inlet and outlet. No fuel passes thru it. Is it a pump that is clogged? How do I un-clog it? Should I try to soak it in fuel? Please help. I am trying to get my Spitfire flying.

I personally don't have much experience with the Perry Pump, just the carbs... I do have a couple of K&B 61s that I am going to sell and one HB 61 that needs a new ring.. one has the pump on it and this was an interesting question... so I found this ..RC Groups and RC Universe have a wealth of knowledge. You sometimes have to read further on to get a right answer as we are just modelers and we don't know everything... collectively, online Forums are a Godsend from what it was like before the Internet..
